About Our Chilean Sodas

Bilz and Pap are sold together and drunk together — Bilz the bright red fruit soda, Pap the papaya one — a Chilean pairing so fixed that the two names are usually said as one. Kem Piña is the pineapple soda, sweet and sharply carbonated, and Limón Soda the lemon one, bright and clean rather than syrupy.

All four come as a single 350 mL can or a six pack, and all four are the Chilean-market formulas rather than US versions of the same brand names. None of them sit on an American supermarket shelf. They are also what goes on the table at an asado, next to the meat and the pebre. Serve them very cold.

What does Kem Piña taste like?
Sweet, tropical pineapple with sharp carbonation. It is artificially flavoured rather than made with juice, which is exactly what gives it the bright candy pineapple taste people remember.
