Tostador Ilko – Chilean Stovetop Bread Toaster
The Ilko Tostador is how Chilean kitchens toast bread: a flat tin-steel rack that sits right on the burner, gas or electric. It does not plug in, it does not take counter space, and it is the reason marraqueta comes out toasted instead of steamed.
The plate measures 8.5 x 7.5 in (21.5 x 19 cm), with a tin-steel body and a handle made from 100% recycled plastic. Good for marraqueta, hallulla and sliced bread, and the packaging points it at tortillas and arepas too.
